Hand Magnet
Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI) is a non-destructive testing method used to detect defects on or just below the surface of ferromagnetic materials. The magnetic flux sent through the material creates a leakage flux area in the region of the error and allows the metal powder to be sprayed on the surface to condense in the flux area. The determination of error length and direction can be easily implemented in MPI systems.
